TAN FEA QUE ME ENCANTA. / UGLY WONDER!
La Figura de Ación de la Mujer Maravilla, Estrella Zafiro de Heroclix.
Les juro que esta es quizá la más fea de las esculturas de la Mujer Maravilla. ¡Pero es TAN fea que me encanta! Jajaja. Si, sé que suena extraño, pero esto me pasa mucho. Creo que pasará a la historia como esos muñecos feos que teníamos de chicos pero que con el tiempo amamos. ¡Dioses, que fea es! Parece extreñida o algo. ¡Y la amo! Jajaja.

I swear! She's so ugly, I love her! These things happen to me all the time. I'm a lover of the bizarre and this is one. Wonder Woman looks constipated or something, and I cannot help but laugh. I really, really love her! A must have, really.

SOME BAD NEWS FOR WONDER WOMAN ART TEAM.
Here's something shared by GAIL SIMONE on the CBR Forums.
"A bit of bad news. Art-wise.
I'm gonna level with you, I know this is irritating when following a book. It's unfortunate.
Due to reasons completely beyond human control, both #41 and #42 of the WW issues have split art teams, by which I mean one artist started each issue, and another finished.
I know this is not ideal. But in both cases, it was simply not avoidable. One of the artists lost a parent, and the other situation was equally unfixable. Both of these artists are supremely dedicated and absolute professionals with stellar reputations for both quality and timely delivery. They are, in short, the kinds of artists who make us all look good and I'm proud to work with them. There's nothing personal here or any animus, just life sticking its nose in unfortunately when we would least like it to.
We all apologize. Nicola will be doing full chores for 43-44, and they will be stunning. Some major, MAJOR talent is on board for issue 600. Throughout this run, we've had the good fortune to have Aaron Lopresti's stunning work delivered on time over and over, and amazing Bernard Chang as our other quarterback. We've been very lucky.
Unfortunately lives sometimes interrupt. I've seen Chris Batista's work on 41 and it's FABULOUS. Just a stunning Achilles and Wondy. And Nicola Scott, well, you guys know what I think of her...she's one of the best in the business.
The extra pages of both issues are by a very talented newer artist named Fernando Dagnino, who draws a very beautiful face on Wonder Woman in particular.
It's a drag, I'm sorry--we had two straight years without any major malfunctions but the switchover here unfortunately had a bit of a stumble. We did everything we could to avoid it, and you have our apologies.
The issues are still big fun. 42 in particular is really a nasty joy...with the Green Lantern Corps (or part of 'em!) guest starring.

Y en castellano, por razones fuera de las manos del equipo creativo de la Mujer Maravilla, como el fallecimiento de la madre de Nicola Scott y problemas con los artistas de apoyo, los números #41 y 42 no tendrán a un sólo dibujante sino dos equipos apoyándose mutuamente.
Desde Marvila les enviamos nuestro corazón y entendemos que a veces la vida es así. Sin embargo, les damos las gracias por todo lo bueno que nos dan y sabemos que con el número #43 todo regresa a la calma. XOXO

UN POST FELIZ / A VERY HAPPY POST.
Tengo que confesar que ir a cualquier evento del Día de la Mujer Maravilla es algo que siempre he querido hacer. Para mi, es una de las mejores caridades que existen relacionadas al mundo del cómic. Y la idea de compartir con otros fans de Marvila hace de este evento anual uno mejor que la Comic Con.
Pues finalmente pude ir, bueno más o menos. Aquí está un video que subieron al Youtube del Día de la Mujer Maravilla del año pasado. Se puede ver lo sensacional del día, el salón lleno de arte, que todos los relacionados usan brazaletes, las caras felices, Gail Simone, Aaron Lopresti, etc. y claro, la Mujer Maravilla está ahí y los niños son felices. Y los muchos fans que aman a Diana y van a hacer su noble labor.

I must confess, I've always wanted to go to any Wonder Woman Day event. To me, it's one of the greatest charity causes ever. And the whole idea of sharing with other Wonder Woman fan makes this an even better event than the Comic Con.
Well, finally I was able to go, kinda. Here's a video posted on Youtube about last year's Wonder Woman Day. You can really enjoy every aspect of it. The bracelets, the happy faces, Wonder Woman with kids! Gail Simone, Aaron Lopresti, etc. And so many fantastic fans who love Diana and come to do good.
