¡ LA PRIMERA IMAGEN !
Al parecer tenemos un nuevo diseño para la Princesa Amazona en su película animada para DVD. Según The-Trades.Com esta es la primera imagen de Diana en su película para DVD. ¿Qué les parece?
Nuevo traje con un nuevo símbolo en el peto y... ¿nueva nariz? Esperamos traerles muchas imágenes más muy pronto. Gracias a SHAKS por su ayuda en este post.

TRINIDAD #5
Okay, otra semana más de TRINIDAD ¿Y qué ha pasado? Pues nada más y nada menos que el Sr. Kurt Busiek escribiendo a una muy buena Mujer Maravilla ¿Y saben algo? Los fans de Superman y Batman están muy molestos porque ella es MUY buena. Es fuerte, ágil, rápida de palabra y es toda una maravilla.
El arte sigue sin conquistarme, pero qué más da. Al menos las cosas están sucediendo y bien para Diana. Sólo desearía que fueran un poco más, no sé, algo más profundas, que podamos conocer más de estos grandes. Las cosas pasan demasiado rápido a mi parecer y no hay mucho bla-bla-bla. Igual y eso es bueno.
Sea como sea, TRINIDAD sigue rompiéndole la mama a todos y tienen que leerla. ¿Qué más pasa en este número? La Mujer Maravilla es capaz de detener a un monstruo alienígena que noqueó a Superman, Batman es el mejor detective del mundo y Superman el más grande de los héroes, todo como debe ser.
Por cierto, hay una parte genial donde Diana coquetea con Bruce y Clark. ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ NO SE LO PUEDEN PERDER!!!!!!!

So Kurt Busiek keeps writing a good Wonder Woman and you know what? Superman and Batman fans must be pissed off. Why? Because she looks SO good. She's strong, she's sassy, she's witty, and she's a wonder!
The art's still NOT my favorite, but oh well. At least things are happening for Diana. I just wish things were a bit more... dunno, more in depth. If there were more story to this, things seem to happen so fast, there's not enough dialogue to get to know these people more.
But anyway, TRINITY keeps kicking ass and you have got to read it. In this issue? Wonder Woman is SHOWN as capable of stopping a monster that KO'd Superman, Batman is THE world's greatest detective and Superman the ULTIMATE hero.
Oh, yeah. My favorite part? Diana teasing Bruce and Clark in a very flirtatious way. You HAVE GOT to read it!!!!

PHIL JIMENEZ & LA ENCICLOPEDIA DE LA MUJER MARAVILLA.
Una nueva biblia de la Mujer Maravilla está en camino. Se los mencionamos hace unos días y ahora PopSyndicate tiene más noticias. En una entrevista con el genial artista Phil Jiménez, nos enteramos de esto. El link está abajo para el resto de la entrevista y les ponemos lo mejor de la misma.
¿Asi que es el único cómic que estás haciendo ahora? ¿No estás haciendo nada para DC Cero? ¿O algo para la Crisis Final?
Estoy bajo contrato con Marvel Comics por otros meses. Mi trabajo con DC es otro. En realidad ahora estoy trabajando en La Enciclopedia de la Mujer Maravilla, lo que es, por supuesto, un montón de diversión y muchisimo trabajo de investigación asi que tengo que leer sobre la Mujer Maravilla, libro tras libro, todo el día. Tengo que decir que ha sido interesante (ver) tendencias en el cómic. Es interesante verlas. Hay diferentes personajes, como Spiderman, que se prestan sólo a un tipo de historias.
El personaje mismo conlleva el tipo de historia. Lo mismo con la Mujer Maravilla. El trasfondo de la mitología griega, la milicia, la madre sobreprotectora. Ha sido fascinante ver cómo históricamente las mismas historias son contadas y recontadas una y otra vez. Y no estoy seguro que los creadores entre una generación y otra sepan esto, en realidad. Ellos sólo piensan " Oh, dios mio. Tengo la perfecta historia de la Mujer Maravilla." Como "alguien más será la Mujer Maravilla" sólo para darse cuenta que en la historia del cómic, han habido 10 Mujeres Maravillas. Tres de las cuales, imagínate, son la de la Edad de Oro, la de Tierra-1 y la versión Post-Crisis. Asi que hay tres Dianas, pero la Mujer Maravilla ha sido remplazada muchas veces. Alguna Amazona enojada dijo "Puedo hacer tu trabajo mejor que tú" y ha tratado de crear otro torneo. Se llevan el traje, se dan cuenta que no pueden con el trabajo, Diana lo recupera -Ártemis, Orana, otra Orana de los 60s, Donna Troy, Circe. Es interesante ver cómo el traje va y viene.
El punto es que lo que ha sido fascinante es unir estas tendencias. Y cuando la enciclopedia se termine, honestamente podré decir que nunca necesitaremos ver otra Amazona retar a la Mujer Maravilla por el título, porque ya se ha hecho antes. No porque no sea una buena historia, sino porque se ha hecho una y otra vez antes.
Lo que me emociona de todo esto es en pensar dos veces sobre el personaje, tratar de entender qué nuevo enfoque a la historia darle ahora que tengo una perspectiva histórica tan larga. ¿Qué historias diría con la Mujer Maravilla para tomar los mejores aspectos de sus versiones que no necesariamente repitan lo que se ha dicho mil veces mediante el paso de las décadas.
¿Quiénes son tus personajes favoritos a la hora de dibujar?
Mis personajes favoritos a dibujar son todos mujeres. La Mujer Maravilla, por supuesto, Donna Troy, las chicas de los Titanes - Starfire & Raven. Las mujeres de los Hombres-X. Mis personajes favoritos al dibujar son probablemente mis personajes favoritos en todo. Parcialmente porque son personajes que entiendo, sé cómo mostrarlas, sé cómo actuarían, todas tienen un fantástico cabello y generalmente los mejores trajes.

So is that's the only comic you are working on right now? You are not doing anything for DC Zero? Or any of the final crisis?
I am under contract with Marvel Comics for another few months. My DC work is actually for licensing. I am actually working on the Wonder Woman Encyclopedia, which is, of course, loads of fun and outrageous amounts of research so I get to read about Wonder Woman issue after issue all day. I have to say has been interesting in [seeing] story trends in comics. It’s interesting to see. Different characters, like Spider-man, just lend themselves to certain types of stories. The milieu itself suggests a certain kind of tale. The same with Wonder Woman.
This sort of Greek mythology background. The island of immortal women. The military. The over protective mother. It’s been fascinating to see how historically the same sorts of stories have been told over and over again. I am not even sure creators between generations actually know this. They just think, “Oh my god I’ve got the perfect wonder woman story!” Like, “someone else is going to be wonder woman.” Only to find out and realize that in comic book history there have been 10 Wonder Women. Three of whom, mind you, are the golden age, earth 1 and post crisis versions. So there are three Dianas. But Wonder Woman has been replaced numerous times. Some cranky Amazon has said ‘I can do your job better than you can’ and has tried to orchestrate another contest. They get the outfit, they find out they are not suited for it, Diana gets the outfit back, - Artemis, Orana, another one from the 60s, Donna Troy, Circe. It’s interesting to me how the costume goes around. The point being that one of the things that has been fascinating me is sort of marking these story trends. And once the encyclopedia is done, I can honestly say that we never need to see another Amazon challenge Wonder Woman to the title, because it’s been done. Not because it’s not such a good story but because it’s been done over and over again.
What it excites in me about this, in rethinking that character, trying to figure out what’s some new angle on the story now that I have a large historical perspective. What stories would I tell with Wonder Woman to take the best aspects of the versions of them but do not necessarily rehash the stories that have been told multiple times over the decades.
Who are your favorite characters to draw?
My favorite characters to draw are all women. Wonder woman, of course. Donna Troy. The Titan girls – Starfire and Raven. The X-women. My favorite characters to draw are probably mostly my favorite characters. Partly because they are my favorites because I get them, I know how to body them, I know how to make them act, they all have fantastic hair, and usually their costumes are really good.
